OPEN FORUM – IT Security – Web Application Firewalls: is the technology mature?
ISACA Belgium and Approach are pleased to welcome you on September 26th as from18:00 to the open forum about “Web Application Firewalls (WAF)”.
Are you wondering if you need a WAF? What impact it will have? How to launch such a project? What are the mistakes to avoid?
What are the common misconceptions about WAF? What are the challenges? How to effectively configure a WAF?
All these questions, and many others, will be debated during this interactive workshop, filling the gap in this area where very few resources are available apart commercial vendors ones. If you want to gather useful practical information or if you want to share your experience, we will be pleased to welcome you!
The objective is to provide a clear, realistic and up-to-date vision of the WAF landscape and highlight the best practices.
This workshop will be moderated by a field expert with more than 15 years of experience with WAF, working for Approach – the company that developed the first methodology to effectively configure WAF.
